April Trip - Ensenada

Our last cruise port was to Ensenada, Mexico. The biggest attraction is miles from the ship, which meant we needed to take a taxi or rent a vehicle. We wanted to rent scooters, but for the price, it just wasn't worth it. We found a great deal and rented a car for the day. It was nice to drive ourselves around and follow our own schedule!

We first drove to the blowhole (La Bufadora) and street markets.

We bought a hammock swing and some art at these markets.

La Bufadora!

We then drove to a small beach that was recommended to us by someone on the ship. We were surprised that nobody else was there! We spent the afternoon in the sun with the beach to ourselves. Since the water was too cold to go swimming, we collected rocks and played in the sand.

12 rocks for the 12 Fish Family members! At this time there were officially only 11, but we were hopeful that number 12 would be coming our way soon :)

After dropping off the rental car, we enjoyed the downtown view on our walk back to the ship.

After a day in Ensenada, we had one last evening on the cruise.

I had to take a picture of this handsome guy.

The last show was a blend of all the dance/performance casts. They also selected 15 guess to be "VIP". We sat in a special section and were told to wait for instructions.

In the middle of the show, performers brought us onto the stage and we had to play along with whatever they told us to do! I had to slow dance while being serenaded to and Brodie had to dance to YMCA.

And that ended our cruise! We disembarked from the ship and then drove straight to meet my Uncle Brent at Magic Mountain.
